Girls Photo Shoot

A few Saturday's ago I decided to take pictures of Jaida, Jenna, and my niece Madison. They all love having their pictures taken and hanging out with each other so it was a perfect time to do it. They all loved the attention and we got some great pictures of them as well.

Jaida is as full of life as she has ever been. I love her smile and she is my right hand girl. I can always count on her for a smile. Even if she gets mad, you just have to smile at her and she can't help but grin.



Madison is such a cute girl. Jaida and Jenna love having her come and play. She is so great to share her make up and nail polish with the girls and I love having her come down. She is turning into such an awesome young lady! :)



I LOVE this picture of Jenna. She is so cute and really keeps us smiling. She is by far my busiest kid but she sure can light up a room with her cute little personality!

Bear World!!!

We went to Bear World in Idaho over Labor Day weekend and had so much FUN!!! We stayed in Idaho Falls for 2 nights. We saw the sights of Idaho Falls like the falls and the temple. When we went to Bear World, the kids were so excited to see the bears. I recommend it to everyone. They have an amusement park that is dedicated to kids who are about 8 and younger. Isaac and Jaida were able to go on all the rides and loved every second of it! They also have a petting zoo where the kids were able to just walk around and pet deer, pigs, chickens, and goats. Jenna wasn't afraid of any of the bears we saw there and we even got pretty close to them on the curators tour where we got to feed the bears bread and doughnuts but when we were in the petting zoo, her entire body shook the whole time. She was freaked out by the goats!!!! It was so sad but funny at the same time! :)



Isaac loved this fawn! He spent so much time just sitting by her and letting the fawn lick his hand. It was so cute!


He was able to feed the deer.






We were able to ride in an open truck and feed the bears at the park. It was amazing to get so close to the bears (safely) and see them approach the truck and beg for food. We would throw the food and they would love to catch it in their mouths!







Jenna even got extremely nervous around this little fawn. She wanted to pet it so bad and would but then she would pull away quickly and want you to stand up with her as soon as possible. This surprised us since she is our most courageous child!


These 2 pictures of Jaida are so great! She loved being able to pet the animals and her smile just lights up the pictures! She is gorgeous!




Isaac took this picture of Luke and I. I look like I'm 6 months pregnant so I'm not completely thrilled at the angle of it but he actually is really good at taking pictures!


Our cute kids at the falls in Idaho.

Idaho Falls is actually a really pretty place. The falls are gorgeous and they have a running/biking trail that people can use to go all the way around it!

The temple is so pretty sitting right along the Snake River. The kids wanted to keep going there just so they could look at the temple. We had such a good time! :)

Cabin Fever!

Recently we went to our family's cabin in Fairview. The kids absolutely LOVE it! They had such a great time finding snail shells, throwing rocks in Fairview Lake, hanging out at the cabin, hiking, sleeping in the loft and really just having a great time. It was a short overnight trip for us but Luke and I loved being there with the kids and enjoying their childhood! :)

Celebrating Our Country's Independence!

4th of July was so much fun at our house this year! We hung out most of the day with my family and had a BBQ. Once it got a little later we had all of the cousins throw the poppers and light sparklers. The kids had a great time and then once it got dark we lit the big stuff... yes the fountains, flowers, and smoke bombs that you buy off the shelves here in Utah. :) Good times.... Good times!

My nephew Hayden was nervous about the fireworks and the sparklers. He was holding a sparkler in this picture but my brother Chris scared him and told him it was going to burn him so he threw it down and refused to touch another one. Poor kid! :)

Isaac's Basketball

We put Isaac into city basketball this year and he LOVES it! His skills are improving by leaps and bounds. He can dribble really well and loves to show off his new found abilities. Not to mention, he is so cute on the court!




One of Isaac coaches is Jimmy Watts. He was just put into Weber State's Hall of Fame. Isaac was really excited to have an African American coach.

Jaida's 4th Birthday!

Jaida had a princess party and here are all the pretty princesses she invited. It was so much fun. We painted fingernails, toenails, made candy bracelets, princess crowns and each princess decorated their own cupcake! Jaida had a great time. She invited her friend Caitlin who lives across the street.... she's 16 and Jaida thinks she is a teenager so it made perfect sense to invite Caitlin. Of course Caitlin came which made Jaida's day!

Our Little Cheerleader!

Jaida just finished her 2nd year as a little Red Devil Cheerleader! She loved it! She is a natural performer and loves to work the audience. She did a couple of cheers and then performed a dance. She was so cute! It was fun to watch.

Jenna's Baby Contest Results

We put Jenna in both the Springville and Provo Baby Contest this year. She placed 2nd in Springville and 2nd in Provo. We think she should've placed 1st! :) She did such a great job and dazzled the judges with her cute personality! She danced, gave high fives and knuckles, showed how many baby signs she knew and was just her beautiful Jenna Sage self! We love her and are so proud of her!

The Rowley Review

Okay- so I'm trying to keep up with the rest of the world and try this whole blog thing. Everyone has to remember that I teach history so I deal very well with the past and well dead people! :) New technology is something I always have to play catch up on!

Luke and I have been married for 12 years! I can't believe it's been that long. He's amazing and I feel extremely blessed to have a man who is compassionate, giving, funny, awesome, and oh so HOT! We have had an awesome marriage so far and I can't wait for all the future adventures we'll have together. He's in police academy right now and will graduate in December. He's home all day with the kids which he LOVES (yes.. that was sarcastic!) He's making the best of it but can't wait for graduation and employment!

I just finished my 1st year of teaching junior high! I loved it! Most people are afraid of the junior high age but I love it! My personality fits perfectly with theirs... maybe it's because I'm just as mature! :) I love volleyball and play every year for the city. I like shopping, hanging out with my family and friends and laughing!

Isaac is 6 and is going into 1st grade! I'm amazed at how fast time flies! In his kindergarten class he was voted, "Most Kind" and I completely agree. He's the sweetest little boy and never wants to hurt anybody's feelings. He's an amazing builder and loves to construct planes with his legos. He recently built a scooter with his K'nex which was awesome! I love him!

Jaida is almost 4 and is honestly one of my best friends! She never misses a beat and her smile is contagious! I recently asked her to brush her teeth and 30 seconds later I went back to check on her and saw her in the hall with a bleeding leg. When I asked what happened she replied with, "well I am almost 4!" I replied with, "what does that have to do with your leg?" She said, "Well, I'm shaving now!" That is my Jaida and I love her!

Jenna is 17 months and is the cutest thing! This is what saves her because she is the tazmanian devil! She is into everything and anything! She can destroy a room in seconds and she has attitude but we could never live without our little miracle. She is funny and loves to make people laugh. She's friendly and will say hi to anyone. She looks like her daddy and has my personality. Her legs are about 6 inches long... not really but they are little and are soooo cute when she runs! She's a doll and we love her!
