Jaida: The Second Mommy

Jaida is my right hand girl. I don't know what I'd do without her. She is a great helper and always knows exactly what is going on. She remembers everything and that can definitely work against us! She is also just a great little mommy! She helps me with Jenna and has since Jenna was born. When she plays with her dolls, I'm amazed at how great she is at holding them, feeding them, playing with them and even putting them in their blankets and taking them for walks. She is awesome and we love her so much! :)

FIRE POWER!

Okay so, If you have ever seen Night at the Museum 2, you will know what this means. There is a part where the "Thinker" on the show is showing off his muscles and says, "Boom, Boom, FIRE POWER!" Well my kids think this is the funniest part of the movie and they all do this. I thought I would take a picture and document how cute they all are. I love being their mom! :)

Our Cute Little....Girl???

Every once in a while, Isaac decides that he wants a little brother so... he chooses to dress up Jenna as a boy. I have to admit that he does a good job and Jenna is a great sport and really loves all the attention she gets from her big brother. They really love each other and Jenna makes sure she pushes all of Isaac's buttons but most of the time he is great with her and loves being a big brother to Jaida and Jenna!

Our Pretty Little Jenna Sage

I took these pictures of Jenna and I just love them! She is so cute. I can't believe how smart she is and she has this sense of humor at 2 years old that is just so funny. She keeps us all laughing and I really don't know what we'd do without our little Sage! :)

Her hair is all the way down her back. I can't believe how fast her hair grows. She is gorgeous.

Look at those big blue eyes! She got those from her Daddy! :)

What a sweet girl!

Jaida lost her 1st tooth!

I really thought at 4 years old Jaida was to young to lose a tooth but I guess I was wrong. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that it was loose. She wouldn't let Luke pull it out for the longest time but several weeks later and a bribe of 2 pixie sticks and ice cream, out came her tooth! She looks so cute with a missing tooth! I hope the tooth fairy remembers to come tonight! ;)

Spring Break in St. George

We decided we would go down to St. George for a few days during Spring Break this year. We had such a great time! It was so warm and the kids LOVED it! We had so much fun swimming in the pool, shopping, hiking, visiting family, and just relaxing. It was 80 degrees down there which was perfect. It was enough to give me my first sunburn. It felt great to escape for a few days and enjoy some warm weather!

Enjoying the hike in awesome weather!

Coloring Easter Eggs with Cousins!

We had such a great time coloring eggs with cousins. Camille was here with her kids and everyone did their best job on their eggs. They ended up so cute and the kids were really proud of their eggs.

Madison was really good at not only decorating her own eggs but she decorated a few for Jenna as well.

Sweet Jenna loving the eggs she got. One even had her name on it.

Hayden decorated his egg with a ton of stickers. It turned out cute Hay! :)

Jaida with her green egg. What a cutie.

Oh Camille who decorated your egg and put, "Camille is a nerd!" That was so mean... who am I kidding that was me and I'm awesome! I guess you are a nerd Camille, I mean the eggs don't lie! ;)

Jaida woke up on Easter morning with little fever.Throughout the day it got progressively worse. By the time we were done decorating the eggs, she was one sick little girl. I felt so bad for her. I gave her some medicine and then I had her go and lay down...

in less than a minute she was asleep and she slept almost the rest of Easter. Poor little girl. She is feeling much better now. I do have to say even when she's sleeping, she looks so cute. :)

Easter 2010

This is what the Easter Bunny left for our cute kids.

When the kids walked out, they were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny left.

Once they saw the stuff on the couch, they didn't waste any time running to the couch to see all their goodies.

Jenna didn't waste any time digging through her basket and eating most of her candy and trying on her new sunglasses.

Jaida with her sweet smile enjoying all her Easter stuff.

Isaac got a baseball glove, which was so good since he starts baseball soon. How does the Easter Bunny know this stuff??? :)

Feeding the ducks :)

I don't know a better way to welcome the first day of spring then to feed the ducks. The kids love it and its fun to watch them get so excited to feed the ducks and then when the ducks get close, its also fun to see the excitement turn to nervous fear :) Isaac I think had more fun feeding the huge carp in the water more than the ducks and I seriously don't remember there being that much duck poop all over the last time we went but it was a fun little outing and the kids had a good time.

Jenna and her cheesy grin

My hot hubby and cute kids feeding the ducks

Sweet pose by Jaida. This is about how close she would get to the ducks "comfortably"

If you look at the water you will notice all the ripples- that's about a billion carp. I know I'm exagerating but seriously there were so many disgusting carp! :) Of course, Isaac loved every minute of feeding the carp not ducks :)

Quick picture of me and the girls; who refuse to actually look at the camera at the same time:) Oh well, at least I'm smiling :)

On a side note: Several years ago I think Isaac was probably a year and a half. We went to this same pond to feed the ducks and Isaac was so excited to see them. He got a little ahead of us and stepped in a little hole by the lake (I could see what was going to happen, it was like it was all happening in slow motion. I yelled at Luke to run to him as fast as he could...) anyway, he stepped in the hole, lost his shoe, and fell head first into the pond. About 1 second later Luke reached in the pond and pulled him out. He was crying and I think I was too. I was so scared but boy did he STINK! He smelled so bad. We took him to the car and took all his clothes off, changed his diaper and headed home. This was his first experience with ducks. We have told him the story many times and he laughs every time.

The Many Smiles of Jaida!

Seriously- a smile from ear to ear :)

Not to mention GORGEOUS! (I even did her hair! :) )

Jaida has got to be one of the happiest little kids I have ever met. When she sleeps she has this sweet angelic look on her face. She goes to sleep happy and wakes up happy. Even when she is mad and throwing a fit, all you have to do is look and her and say, "Don't you smile! You better not smile at me!" She won't even be able to control it anymore, she will smile! I don't know what I would do without my right hand girl. She's always there to help me, make me laugh, smile, drive me crazy, find things when I can't, and genuinely make me and others who surround her happy. I love you Jaida!

I just couldn't help myself!

I know that Jenna will someday be so mad at me for posting this but I couldn't help it! She looks so stinkin' cute. She took off her diaper and before we could put another one on her, she put Jaida's boots on. She looked so cute with her little butt and big boots on! What a funny little girl. She does keep us laughing :) We sure do love you!

Citizen of the Month!!

Last month Isaac was nominated for citizen of the month at Cherry Creek Elementary. He was so proud and so were we! He got the award because his teacher told us, "he is so kind and caring and nice to everyone!" That has to make parents feel proud! He is such a great kid and I love seeing the person that he is becoming. I couldn't be more proud of my little citizen of the month! :)

The Power of the DS

If anyone could be in love with a thing, it would be Isaac and his DS. He LOVES that thing. His friend Mason will come over quite often and they will "link" their DS's (or so Isaac tells me, I have no idea) and they will play for hours. I got them to pause long enough to smile for me and the camera. What cute boys :)

This is serious business!!

Quick Mason- hurry and smile for my mom so she'll stop bugging us!

Now back to business!

Lucky Number 7!!!

I can't believe that Isaac is already 7 years old. I swear it was not that long ago when Luke and I went to Philadelphia to pick up this amazing little boy. Isaac made me a mom for the 1st time. No words can express what that feeling is actually like. I love being Isaac's mom. He is amazing and I'm so proud of him everyday. For his 7th birthday he got a bike. He really needed a new one so when we surprised him with one he was extremely happy. He had a little birthday party and loved having friends and cousins celebrate with him. I love you Isaac and I hope you will always know what you mean to us! :)

I love the look on Isaac's face. He is excited and embarresed at the same time. He doesn't always love to be the center of attention but at the same time he does enjoy all the attention. He is such a cute boy.
